Target range question
Hi all,
I'm a type 1 diabetic, consider myself to be very well controlled through a mixture of plenty of exercise, good diet and a diabetic pump. I think the glucose buddy ap is amazing, only just found it and really impressed with how you can record and track blood sugar changes...replaces my longwinded spread sheets!! My question is about Glucose target range. I have noticed that in the 'my profile' section of the Glucose buddy site that the upper limit target range is set at 6.7. Has anybody adjusted this at all or is this generally deemed to be the best number to benchmark against? Thanks, Tim |

The default target range of 120 (US) work very well for me. I think that this converts to the same number that you are using in the UK. That being said, you can adjust the number, but I would suggest only slightly lower. I tried this at 110, for me, and went back to the default.

Jeff:
When is the default target BG range of 70 - 120 mg/dL (3.9 - 6.7 mmol/L) used by the website? I can't say that I have seen the default range show up in the graphs.

Jeff;
Thanks for the info. It is always good to know! I am assuming that the default range (green area) in the App graph can not be changed by the user.
