Default Chili Pepper for Diabets

Hello,
I am dietetitian and I want to ask how caspaicin in hot peppers can harm diabetes after eat peppers like Carolina Reaper, Bhut Jolokia and others. I am asking on this forum to get answer because the best answer are always from experienced people

Default Ghost pepper

Spicy food had not bothered my body before. It seemed to wake my senses. Now for the last 6 weeks every time I have spicy food I felt like I was almost in heart failure again. I am going to be cutting way back on the hot peppers to see if it goes away.
