Default BG spike/levothyroxine ?

For two days in a row I've had my lowest AM BG readings (107 & 104). I have DP - and it often doesn't go down until after I eat something.

Yesterday I ate a small spoon of almond butter (pure ground almonds - nothing else), 50 mcg of levothyroxine (generic Synthroid), and 5000 IU of Vitamin D1.

This morning I skipped the almonds.

Yesterday's BG: 148/125 at 1 & 2 hours after taking meds.
Today's BG 125 at 2 hours after taking meds.

I know that levothyroxine (over time) can elevate BG - but I can't find anything that suggests it should cause a spike. And eating nut paste typically drives my BG below 100.

I'm at a loss - anyone else experience this with either Synthroid (or generic equivalents) or Vitamin D1)? (I checked both - no sugar added to either & I ground the almonds myself so I know nothing else was added to them).
