I'm Back! second time here to log and track.
Hey folks, Jason here from Phoenix AZ(usa), diagnosed type 2 in September 2013 with bs level of nearly 500. Since then been taking metaFORMIN and tons of Glipizide. When I started I weighed 297lbs. Yuck! I dropped to about 270 by New Years 2014. But since put it all back on. After meeting with a new doctor I'm happy to be back logging and carefully watching my calorie intake (1,900 a day). I'm gonna beat it this time. And not stopping until everything's set right. My condition is at a turning point where real damage can begin with my body.
Ive also had erosive Gastrointestinal Esophageal Respiratory Disease (GERD) since I was 22 years old. Making what I eat very limited. My main issue when struggling with both Type 2 diabetes and GERD is finding the right dishes/foods to prepare so that it won't irritate either condition. Tricky. And I have a HUGE addiction to breads!!! Crackers, anything bread!!! I got to have bread! I found whole wheat bread to sometimes be worse for you though. Blah blah |
