Default Hope this feedback helps

I was interested to see this tracker, and it looks like there are a few features that interest me - the ability to set alarms for testing is a huge feature that I want very much. However, I won't be using this app, at least not now...I'll certainly keep an eye on it for the future. The deal breaker for me is the inability to upload my logs.

There are 2 reasons. 1) I want very much to keep all my information in ONE piece of software. If I am to start a new app, I need it to be very easy to switch and that means easy transfer of my old data into the new software. I am absolutely not going to enter my old data from the last few months manually.

2) I am very busy - my days are often chaotic - I struggle to test as much as I need to (up to 10 times a day while I learn how to eat). There are some days I can remember to enter my numbers when I test, but other times I can't or am just too distracted. I absolutely do NOT want to manually enter everything at once. I invested in the cable for my meter so that I could upload my data. There ARE free BG tracking apps that let me upload my OneTouch log file - so it is something that can be done.

The other suggestion - it is beyond frustrating to use 2 apps - one for BG, another for my diet. I track much more about my food than just carbs. There are vast nutritional databases and great food tracking apps out there - why can't this be combined? I want to track more than carbs - I am tracking protein and fat - I really want to see where protein impacts both my sugar and my weight! Why can't I put this information into one app that can report to me, side by side, what I ate and what my pre and post BG for that meal was? Would be so hard to add weight loss tracking and even BP tracking? If you don't want to build these things in, import them from a linked app!

I am sick of apps that cater to the American Diabetes Associate guidelines and go no farther. Apps should not just cater to what my doctor wants to see at my three month visit - an app should help me with my day to day tracking and lifestyle, providing ME with the detail I need to fine tune my behavior - control my blood sugar, diet, weight loss and exercise.

I would pay very good money for a comprehensive app that let me manage everything in one spot.
