Sync All logs - App Cannot Establish Connection
Error: App Cannot Establish Connection to Glucose Buddy Server.
Have GB Pro running on two different iPhones and one iPad. Since downloading this 5 days ago, I have only been able to sync (Quick Sync or Sync All Logs) once or twice. Every other time I get this message. Doesn't matter whether I use cellular only with Wifi turned off on iPhones or whether I use Wifi (20M up / 5M down) on the iPhones or iPad. One iPhone has its own iTunes account. Another iPhone and iPad share an iTunes account. This seems like a common problem I see on this forum, with no clear fix. This has to be fixed or I will be forced to switch to another app. Killing the experience. What is the fix? |

The website has been down for the last 2-3 days. It seems to be up and running. Keep trying, it should go through.

Try the Quick Sync on both devices as well. This is what I generally use on my iPad. It works every time for me, I need to update the iPad.

No, the server appears to be up and running.
Have you ever logged data before? If not, check your account name and password. If you have logged dat before, try it again after you get the message. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to send the data.

Not syncing
The sync from my iPhone to the server has been flaky the past week. The message I have been seeing the past couple of days is
Sync Status: App cannot establish connection to Glucose Buddy server. I've been using the app for a few years with no problems. My internet connection is good. I keep trying every so often (whenever I test) but was up to 4 unsynced logs. I was typing this note after trying a couple of unsuccessful attempts at Quick Sync. I quit the app on my iPhone (in iOS 7.1, double-press home button and swipe up on the app). I then restarted and tried a Quick Sync and it worked. So I suggest quitting the app and trying again as a possible solution. |

Hi. We have followed this advice and it is still not working. I can see my daughter has synced on her phone app by logging on through the computer but it's not coming through the app on my iPhone. We just did the apple update. Maybe that is what this has to do with. I sent two emails to support over the last couple days with no response. My 11 year old daughter and I use this app to communicate while she is at school. I paid the 12.99 upgrade to sync and I am very disappointed right now. This happened earlier in the school year as well. Can someone please fix the bug in this app?

Been using this app for our sons t1d care for the last two years and have loved it....... Until about a week and a half ago when it stopped connecting to the glucose buddy server and only syncs once in a blue moon. What's the deal?! So bummed on this app. If you had to get up and test your child every three hours while half awake and try to remember the last dose then you might fix this app quick smart. If it doesn't start working soon I'm switching to something else that works and will no longer recommend glucose buddy as I had before. Total shame too because I used to rave about it.
