Yes, it equates to an average of 117 mg/dl or 6.5 mmol/l. I wish mine was that good.

I've had an A1C of 5.8 to 6 for approximately 7 years. I was only on medication for 6 months - until my glucose levels lowered and I began having lows. Now, I'm experiencing a whole new thing. My normal reading before breakfast is under 100. I would always know why it was slightly higher. (I only test once a day at this point.) However, I've noticed a change -- for the last couple of months. I thought my meter was the problem but a recent testing with an Accu Check pro proved otherwise. My readings are now between 101-118, with an average of about 104-105 each morning. I know. I'm probably the only person with these numbers who is freaking out. But for me, it doesn't seem normal. My weight is generally the same. I'm on the lower end of where I prefer to be and I'm trying to gain a few pounds. I still exercise on a regular basis. Is there something going on? Should I see my doctor sooner or just wait until the next scheduled appointment? I'm sure most people who read this will think I'm crazy. But to see these numbers changing and to keep wondering what's going on. It's bothering me a lot.

My recent A1C was 7.1. Dr said it had come down from 7.8.

These readings are great, nothing to worry about at all, I would wait for your next a1c test and discuss your fears with your GP then
