Default flip oxide

Hi I have been managing my Type 2 for years with Metformin. I now am combining with glipizide to keep my numbers healthy. Why do they titrate up? Anybody familiar with this method of using a new medication? Why is it done specifically for this type of med?

Welcome to the Forum!

I am not familiar with the combination meds and I do not have an answer.

Good luck with your control and management.

As your disease progresses you lose the cells that secrete insulin and the receptors. Adding combo therapy helps from a new angle and tries to 'squeeze out' more natural insulin
