Default Hi from LI! New with GD.

Hello all!
I've just been diagnosed with gestational diabeties. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant with my second son, and feeling very frustrated and angry, with a good side of "woe is me" to go along with it.
Still learning a lot - only had the seminar to get the meter and begin testing yesterday, but I've been trolling about on the ADA website to get info on nutrition and such - it's frustrating that they told me and all the other GD preggos at the meeting about the BG levels, but then we don't have the nutrition seminar until TUESDAY. That's a LONG time to go just "winging it", kwim?
Anyway, glad to have found this app for my phone and the website. If anyone else out there has GD, I'd love any and all help you can send my way!

the8trekott;

Welcome to the Forum!

There are a couple of ladies posting in the Gestational Section. You might try posting in that section and strike up a conversation with them. I am sure that they would love to hear from you. Good luck with your management and I wish you and the little one all the best.
