Hello my name is john, I do not have diabetes yet bu I am a candidate.
One of my sister died from it and one has it now. Last time I saw my sister
She was over weight and uses a walker. I have been testing my blood since 2010.My sugar was 130 to 160. Then I changed my diet, now some times it goes over a 100 but most of the time it stays below a 100.any advise will be much appreciated. Thank you.

John;

Welcome to the Forum!

It sounds like you are doing well, as 100 mg/dl is a very good average. Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
