Question Not a Happy Thanksgiving

My doctors nurse called the day before Thanksgiving last week to follow up with the routine blood test I took the previous Monday.

The nurse set me up!

"Good morning... Blood test results...Everything looks good... Yada yadda....

Oh but you do have diabetes."

"Huh????"

I'm not over weight, eat normal pretty healthy food, avoid coke and candy. Normal daily exercise. I feel fine... I do drink red wine.

So that is me... Brand New To Diabetes at age 40, female.
