Red face Hello from Wake Forest, NC, USA

At the age of 62, and after many years staving off the T2 threshold, I took a regimen of Prednisone for a back injury. It spiked my glucose, but it stayed high instead of receding after stopping the steroid. Great.
So here I am, after just a handful of days of testing & tracking (I know only what I've read so far), finding and appreciating this nice little app for my iPhone. Next step is to find an _easy-to-use_ carb counter; looks like about a thousand of them out there...
Haven't started taking the oral med yet; want to get about a week's worth of "control" pairs in my log. That'll be next.
This puts a slight dent in my effort to try to retrace Joshua Slocum's first solo circumnavigation when I retire in 4 years at 66, but we'll see, right?

Nice to have a forum like this. All the best to all of you.

Sean;

Welcome to the Forum!

The easiest to use, for me, is the GoMeals App. If you eat out or use fast food restaurants, the try the Restaurants App. Best of all they are both free! Good luck couting the carbs. You may find this website helpful.
