Default Stuart from Germany

I am Stuart i am 57 and I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 for weeks ago
I am in a bit of turmoil with all the what I can and what I cant eat and drink
I suppose it will sink in soon
I have a Accu-Chek Mobil reader no software so I use this brilliant website to enter all the data .It is a bit of a cheek to sell a machine and make you buy the software because I have just stareted to realise what the costs are now for us with Diabetes test strips and cassets and needles and other food .its a dear doo as they would say back home ion Lincolnshire
I live and work in Germany but will be cheering England on Next month and trying to keep my sugar levels down at the same time
Stu

Stuart;

Welcome to the Forum!

You may want to look into a low carb diet, as it appears to be the best for those with T2. There is a lot of good info here on this site. Read and learn about your condition and test as much as you can. Good luck with getting that blood sugar level down and keeping it there!

Default In the same boat

Hi Stuart,

At 62, I just joined the ranks last week. There certainly is a lot to learn and evaluate, and I'm hoping this app will make it easier.

Best of luck, and please--share what you learn?
