New to Diabetes
Hidy Hidy. I was recently diagnosed on Friday, April 26th. This has been a scary diagnosis for me as I was diagnosed hypertensive (high blood pressure) about 6 months ago. This was a wake up call for me. Downloaded the app and am on my way to a healthier future.

Welcome to the Forum!
Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.

Hey hujujolly! We have the exact same diagnosis(es) about the exact same time. I'm 33 and feel like I'm medicated like an 80yo. Wake up call for sure! Good luck with managing both. Hard to know exactly how to eat when restricting sugar+salt.
