Default difference between type 1 and 1.5 diabetes

Im 23 my name is travis i just got diagnosed with type 1.5 diabetes whats the difference between that and type 1?

Type 1.5 diabetes is sometimes called Slow Onset Type 1 or Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA). Compared to Type 1, it occurs at an older age where the immune system conducts a slower attack on the beta cells, rather than the more aggressive attack encountered in children or teens, which was previously referred to as Juvenile Diabetes (currently known as Type 1). Most-generally, T1.5 is treated with insulin the same as T1.
