Smile New to the forum

Hi everyone,

My name is Brandon. I was diagnosed with diabetes in January of 2009. I have struggled with keeping my blood sugar within the normal range. My numbers are notoriously high. I don't always test and dose consistantly. I think it is because I don't have anyone to answer too. It has been a difficult journey thus far, but I am committed to beating this disease. I am a two time Cancer survivor, and if Cancer can't beat me...neither will this.

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Semper Fi!

Welcome to the Forum!

You currently have a good out-look. Take the bull by the horns and don't let it beat you.

You din't say if you were T1 or T2, either way, read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
