Default 2.5 year old and pump

I'm sure there is probably a thread going regarding this subject, but looking for some guidance. My daugther was diagnosed with T1D a little over 2 weeks ago. She is 2.5 years old. We are managing so far, and she just recently entered her honeymoon period. We are interested in looking into a pump option for her.

What do you recommend for a 2.5 year old who wears mostly dresses? I've only started a very preliminary search so any guidance would be helpful. Those pods seem interesting since they don't have tubes....

Hi Rae,

Hope you are dealing OK with your daughter's diagnosis. I imagine it must be tough to deal with as a parent!

My thought would be (knowing how active all the children in my life are) to gravitate towards an omnipod. There is no tubing, no buttons for little ones to mess with, and it's waterproof.

Good luck!!
