Quick Sync Issues
Hi. I just started using GB this weekend and love it. I have entered about 2 weeks of logs in it and tried to upload it to the website. On the Quick Sync icon, there is a red 67, which I know are the logs that need uploaded. I click the icon and it says syncing and the circle goes around. The problem is that it goes around and says that for over an hour and nothing ever happens. No warning message, no final message. Nothing but syncing. I have tried multiple times today. I've checked my username and password letter by letter about 4 times to make sure that they match and they do. I've rebooted by iphone 5 and tried again with the same result. I don't know what else to do. I've read through everything I can find on the forums and I can't find anything else to try. I'd appreciate any help or guidance you can give. It's a great program and I'd love to be able to utilize it.
Also, one other thing. It has asked if I wanted to upgrade to pro and I might want to, however, it never tells me how much it is. I'm afraid to click accept that it will automatically make the charge. How much is it to upgrade? Thanks, Christine |

If you can log into the website and the username and password is the same on all devices, then you should be able to sync.
Which version are you running the Free or the Pro? For now try this: Under Settings set the 2 Way Sync to OFF (Upload Only) [with a check mark]. Close the app. Turn the iPhone off then back on. Make sure that you have a wifi connection. Open GB and try to Quick Sync. If it still doesn't work, try the "Sync All Logs" under Settings. If that doesn't work, try both sync's again using the 4G (ie no wifi). Good Luck!

Hi Danny,
Been using the free version for a couple of months now and finally decided to upgrade to pro. How do I get my logs across to the pro version? I've synced to the web but can't seem to download the logs to the pro installation. 2 way sync is enabled and I can upload okay. Thanks in advance. Chris |

Downloading Data "Two-Way-Sync"; From the Website to the GB Pro App Note: The account name and password must be the same on all devices. Under "Settings", "2 Way Sync"; make sure that the "On (Download & Upload)" is turned on (ie checked). Under "Settings", "Account Info"; Select "Sync All Logs". You will see a spinning wheel saying "syncing..." Please be patient this will take a while. Reference the "GB Help" thread. Good Luck.

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated
Like some of the other posters here, I really like the Glucose Buddy website; however, also like other posters, I have some recurring issues.
I'm using the Glucose Buddy website (and the free version), and the website never recognizes my password. I have to reset it each time I want to update my glucose/medicine, etc., logs. As you can imagine, this gets to be a pain. Also, I understand that one cannot change the date on the logs in IE; however, I have also used Google Chrome and Firefox and still cannot change the date. Otherwise, I think the website is awesome & would like to use it more than I do so any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I posted too soon on one of the issues: once I logged into Google Chrome (still had to request my password be reset to do it), I was able to change the date so no problem there.
Didn't I read on one of the other forum threads something to do with the compatibility settings? That if I change or reset them, I might be able to log in. Again, thanks for the info and thanks for a wonderful tool to help me with my diabetes. |
