It's just another diet. You are better off counting carbs. Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section. Especially if you have Type 2 Diabetes.

I'm using medifast. It's brought my sugar under control for first time since diagnosis. However, someone who is disciplined could do this without the doctor monitoring. I needed the accountability.

Web search the 4 hour diet. No joke. This is awesome. You get to lose lbs, rebuild metabolism and gain energy. It's worked for many people I know friends and family. It's about time there's something out there that's not a gimmick.
