Default Type 2

I've been a diabetic for over 25 years. After I was diagnosed, I was told to watch my diet and excerise. A few laters my condition worsen and started taking oral meds. Less than 2 years later, I stared taking insulin and have been taking it ever since.

I have never been overweight and always excerise but, love to eat. Three months ago my wife and I changed our diet to organic foods only. No artificial sweetners, no processed foods, no bread, just protein, 5 or more green vegatables, and non juice fruit per day. I have lost 17 lbs but, my A1C went up. I'll just have to tweet my daily intake, exercise, and keep checking BS

No matter what type of diet you may be on you will always need to record everything.

Keep a daily log.

Don't let the numbers depresse you. You might had a bad day, the next day is a new day. Try to work harder and contact this forum for support.

Welcome to the Forum!

It looks like you have a handle on your condition, keep up the good work and keep beating those blood sugars down. Take a look at the first three threads in the Type 2 Section when you get a chance. It has some useful information for all of us.
