I just got diagnosed and heard that there is a cure but they won't release it because drug companies will loos a lot of $. They figure as long as they keep it controlled with medication everyone wins. What do u all think or know?

There is no cure yet. There are plenty of trials and experiments happening all over the world. DM1 's are a small percentage of DM's. there are so many more type 2's and its not bc their pancreas stopped working. So the drug companies will have plenty of money regardless of a cure.
