Default help..I think i may be hypoglycemic

I had called the nurse because i was feeling dizzy and faint and she made me an appointment for the 11th until now I would like some advice, I bought a blood sugar tester and heres what happend...upon waking my reading was 75 last meal was 10:17 pm last night upon this reading before I ate anything.

So I ate a peanut butter sandwitch on wheat bread as I felt sluggish and a little out of it this was 8:15am and 8:33 my bs was 79 (18 mins after eating just the peanut butter sandwitch)

So I ate 3 life savers at 8:42 started getting wierd head feeling and almost a speed of energy like my mind was going to fast and scrambled anxious slight head pressure etc so I tested at 8:57 bs is 107 15 mins after eating life savers 42 minutes after eating sandwitch.

9:15 1 hour after sandwitch and 18 mins after life savers... blood sugar is 99......... I will test again at 2 hours but does this sound wierd how bs doesnt get very high and drops pretty fast? is that the pattern im seeing?? any advice or thoughts... I have been diagnosed with panic disorder BUT I have been getting attacks that arent panic related feeling or maybe this whole time have been related to sugar who knows... I get trembley shakey inside, cold hands and feet, feel faint/dizzy pressure in head and eyes at ties, racing heart 117 then after eating or sometimes before my hands and feet sweat like crazy!

2 hours after peanut butter sandwitch my hands were cold and i was feeling nervous, i had to take my test 3 times via finger cause first reading said 62, second reading said 79, and 3rd said 74, after that I ate a salad from a head of lettuce, with some brick cheddar cheese and ham lunch meat on top, and a handfull of walnuts and almonds mix unsalted. between after eating it (after eating i got lightheaded dizzy feeling a rush of warmth through my body) and from20-28 minutes later I feel a little shakey and heart rate is faster. anyone know what this means?

Welcome to the Forum!

Try to keep your blood sugar between 100-120 during the day and 70-99 fasting. Just remember that you are not eating much when you eat the peanut butter sandwich, as it is only 28 carbs. When low, I generally try to eat ~15 carbs, 1/2 peanut butter sandwich, and test 15 minutes later. This is called the 15-15 Rule. Try learning to count carbs, see Carb Counting 101, in the Type 2 Section, it will help you alot.

I need some info. I have been counting calories for 2 months now lost 15 pounds. I have had glucose tolerance test in '05 I was told then I had hypoglycemia. Been eating low carbs n sugar free 2 days ago I felt really shaky and kinda faint couldn't concentrate I had eaten a pancake with syrup about 1pm was cleaning house stopped check bs (finger test) it was 39. I also have seizures bout 1 a yr. could these be related to the sudden bs drop? My A1C was 6.0 in August .

A pancake is about 22 carbs and I assume that the syrup was sugar free. Physical exercise will make you run through carbs pretty quick. Maybe you should try eating a few more carbs when you are cleaning. Keep an eye on the hypos, test often. Good luck.

I am having the exact same symptoms but I haven't been to dr to know what's going on. I also have anxiety disorder and thought I was having panic attacks but it is related to my sugar instead. My bs has not been too low for normal but it hasn't got over 100 since I've been checking it.
