Default new to insulin

I have had type II for at least ten years. My BS has been out of control, or should I say "I have been out of control ". My A1C was over 14 last week, hence my metformin and glipicide now has Lantus added to it. Trying low carb diet again, but I am stressed. Just plain disgusted with myself.

Welcome to the Forum!

Many of us have found that the meds only work for about ten (10) years. Insulin will most-likely be the best thing that you have tried for a while, at least that is what I found. Good luck with your control and management.
