Default new and feeling under informed...

Hello all! I found out on Monday that I was type two.

I have had problems with my cholesterol and was on track. I lost 33 pounds and was doing well. My dr surprised me with the diagnosis.
I'm still getting used to logging everything.
I think I will do okay but any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum!

Most everyone feels uninformed when they leave the doctor's office. Self education, carb counting and exercise are a few of the keys to successfully manage diabetes. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, they will help greatly as you begin your education. Good luck with your control and management.
