Is there any direct correlation between the level of anxiety and the level of BG? E.g. The higher the anxiety the higher the BG.

Yes, It has long been know that stress levels affect blood glucose values in a negative way. Stress/anxiety can make you very sick, especially if you have diabetes. I urge you to seek help, if you are having problems with this.

Stress affects it, otehr illness affects it, infection affects it, poor sleep affects it. Basically, *anything* can affect your levels. What a pest it all is.

Russlong; anxiety can even kill. My wife has ADHD. We're in our 60's. Even though she is on meds, has a Dr. just for her disorder and attends groups, etc. her anxiety spills over on me and my daily average B/G has gone from approx. 115.0 to 154.6.
