Default HCG Diet

Hi my name is Fred, I am a type 2 diabetic and currently on the HCG diet. HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. It is a hormone modulater that is self injected using a U-100 insulin 1/2cc syringe, 25 units a day for 40 days only. For people seeking to lose weight, hCG activates the hypothalamus gland that controls your metabolism and helps move stored fat into the bloodstream to be used as "food". The hCG helps your metabolism to protect your body's good fat and keep muscle tissue from breaking down (which occurs on many other low calorie diets when hCG is not present). On this diet you eat just 500 calories a day with little or no hunger. You must drink plenty of water or you will experience hunger. My diet consists of two apples, two 100 gram portions of protein, and two cups of vegies. My fasting glucose readings have dropped from an average of 155 to 94 while on the HCG. After 30 injections I have lost 24 pounds, feeling good and can't wait to see what the next 10 injections bring.
There is plenty of info on the web about HCG. Hope this helps. Bye
