Confused
So I went for a checkup and had blood work done. My Glucose Level was 136 and my Liver count ALT was 55, which is one point over normal. My Dr had me come back two weeks later and have more tests done. My Glucose fell to 129 and my Liver Function Test ALT went up to 82. The good news was my A1C was a 6 and that is considered normal (Below 7). Because I had two consecutive scores of over 126 the Dr has diagnosed me with Diabetes. I have been testing myself at home and my FreeStyle Lite is showing me normal ranges. I am thinking I may not have Diabetes. Any Suggestions? Thank You

Welcome to the Forum!
"The cutoff for pre-diabetes is a fasting blood sugar of 100 mg/dl. Fasting levels between 100 and 126 mg/dl are diagnosed as pre-diabetes and a fasting level of 126 mg/dl and up is diabetes." WebLink
