Will GB keep and move all my entries, If I backup my old iPhone and restore data on a new one using iTunes?

Maybe someone had such case before. Thanks...

Yes, I think that it will. Others have said that this is the case. I personally have backed up my phone, crashed it, and rebuilt the phone back up from the original (new phone) configuration. This happens everytime that I update to the new OS. I have not lost any data yet. The back up is the key. Good luck.

K, I have thought about upgrading to the new iPhone, but my 3GS works so well that I think I will keep it until the next generation.

I have always sync my logs and it is showing up on the web site and I tried sync after I restored the iPhone as a NEW phone and therefore all data were gone, and it won't sync back from the web to my iPhone. Is there another way of doing this? I could not find anything on the web page. Thanks for your help and support

More information is needed. Why did you have to restore the iPhone to a new configuration? Were you trying to install the latest version of OS? Did you back the iPhone up prior to all of this?

At this time there is no two (2) way sync. Currently the only way that you can get your info into your iPhone is to key punch it. That being said, the two (2) way sync capability, that will do what you want, should be ready in the next GB update.

Danny, there was an issue on my iphone after the iOS 4.2.1 release regarding the previous calls display not working. I of course back up my iphone & sync my glucose buddy data before restoring it as a new phone. Do you have a backup file name that I can use and how do I restore it? BTW, I have a macbook pro. Thanks for your help.

When I updated to OS4.2; I first did a backup, installed the new OS, and then restored the file (by date label) using the most recent iTunes software for windows. This is the only way that I know how to do it. I hope it helps.
