I don't get it, why would a woman shoot up insulin for a very temporary condition? I flat out refused to take the glucose tolerance test with both of my pregnancies and had very healthy 9 lb babies. (I have a severe phobia of needles and refuse blood tests whenever I can.)
Someone asked me if I would donate blood....yikes hell NO. Unless I was sedated. I'd rather die than face a needle or an IV. You people are a lot better than I am that's for sure!!
