Diabetic Neuropathy
I was diagnosed in August with T2 and have since brought my levels in line. I am having trouble with neuropathy in my feet and my doctor has tried gabapentin and lyrica for this. It doesn't seem to be helping. Does anyone know what else I can try since I am not getting a lot of sleep through all of this. Any help is much appreciated.

I am on 1800 MG of Gabapentin a day, How much were you taking? It has helped me and i have a lot of pain and loss of feeling in my feet, especially my right foot and lower leg. I have not tried Lyrica. I do take about 6 capsules of Vicodin over several hours in the evening also that helps with the pain.

I am taking 1800mg a day also, but am not getting any relief. I'm not sure what else to try, but I will check on the other drug you mentioned. Thanks and I wish you well.

Gabapentin has helped me, got me off regular use of heavy pain meds. I've found prescription strength Advere in the morning helps leg pain. I recommend frequent pedicures for foot care.
