Default Broken nose... what to do?

I have been diagnosed with type 1 for 11 years. I'm able to control it with my diet plan and regular exercise. Everything was going smoothly, unfortunately, few weeks back I met with an accident and my nose is injured. There are no external injuries but I have consulted an ENT specialist in my locality (Toronto) and he said my bone cartilage is broken and I need to consult a rhinoplasty surgeon. I have read rhinoplasty helps to reshape the existing cartilage and bone on the nose. I think a surgery will be more complicated for me as a small wound will take really a long time to heal. I don't know what should I do. Does anyone here had similar situation? I may need your help!!!
