Hello all
I'm new here. I downloaded the app and linked up the web site just a few minutes ago. Geographically, I'm in Illinois, about 40 minutes south of downtown Chicago.
I'm Type 2, diagnosed in around 2006 or so. But I've been a bad girl and haven't taken my meds or tested my glucose in a very long time. I've seen my doctor and made a commitment to myself and my husband to faithfully take my meds and test my glucose like I should be. Since my doctor wants to see a log of my blood glucose readings when I see her in two weeks, I figured it would be easiest to track it on my phone. I'm hoping that I can make it stick this time, because I have a bad habit of starting something really well and then ... just losing interest, I guess. Maybe with the forum here, I can connect with other people and keep going longer. Anyway, let's go! Or something.... |

Welcome to the Forum!
I am glad that you are finally taking your condition seriously... Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
