Default 13 yr old type 1 diabetic

My name is Tyler and I have type one diabetes. I find it a very difficult and devastating disease to live with and often find it hard to manage lately. But with the help of friends and family, sometimes I don't struggle too bad. I am very put down by diabetes. It makes me feel different. And alienated. But hopefully with the help of other diabetics and everything else, I can hope to one day feel normal again.

Jeff,
Thank you for the welcome and thank you very much for what you have said. I have noticed that since I have type 1 that I am a lot more mature than my peers. I have been ever since age 6 when I was diagnosed. I also know a lot more than someone my age may know. I don't necessarily consider diabetes to be something to be grateful for, but then again, maybe I should. Thank you very much for your kind words. You take care too.
