Default Dizziness, lightheaded and passing out

Greetings All!

I just experienced passing out. Over the past couple weeks I have felt lightheaded and dizzy upon standing but never passed out. I was recently put on insulin and I have changed my diet as well. Has this happened to any of you all? Thanks

Have you checked your blood sugar during these episodes? These can be symptoms of low blood sugar.

Blood sugar sounds good. I would speak to the doctor about the episodes.

Seems a little low to me. Stay on top of it. Let us know how it turns out, after you talk to your doctor.

Did some more research and looks like it may be Orthostatic hypotension. However, I will still talk with my doctor and keep yous guys updated. Thanks

I talked to my dr about the dizziness upon standing and the one time I fainted. He confirmed through the battery of tests and bp readings that it was orthostatic hypotension. Basically he said to stand up in stages and take my time to allow my bp to regulate for a few seconds. He didn't feel I needed medication at this point.
