I assume that you are speaking of "Hummus", if that is the case, then you can make your own. Here is one recipe. There are several on-line, I prefer the one with roasted red pepper and a little spicy, if you can find it.

Breakfast is the first meal of the day,it should be healthy and complete.I typically eat frozen meals. I too am not a fan of eggs or oatmeal. And cereal and milk just rockets my stuff up. Oh and I don't like eating right when I get up either. So I usually warm up a meal when I get to the office. Yes they have higher sodium and stuff but I know exactly how many carbs, protein, and calories I'm eating and that's the main thing.

I used to eat the Kashi cereals until they increased the per cup sugar amounts, so I switched back to plain Cheerios. On other days I'll also eat 2 eggs, 1slice multigrain toast (low sugar brand), 2 slices bacon with either coffee or tea.

Thumbs up Plenty of substitutes for potatoes at breakfast

Try this for a low-carb alternative to hash brown potatoes. Get a jicama (it's a root vegetable about the size of a coconut) and peel off the tough outer skin. The flesh is white, crisp, and slightly sweet. Shred the meat of the jicama and blot with a paper towel to dry it. It can then be sautéed in a skillet with a tiny amount of oil or butter until browned on one side. Flip and brown the other side. Jicama will retain its crispiness even better than potatoes. My non-diabetic wife loved it!

Next, I live it Texas and there is a brand of flour tortillas named Mission. They have two sizes of carb-balanced tortillas. The little ones are only 6 grams of carbs (net) so you can make a couple of awesome egg, bacon and cheese breakfast tacos, a little salsa for a kick, and enjoy without guilt. Fewer carbs than two slices of whole wheat toast too. Don't want cheese or bacon in your taco? Try chopped sweet yellow peppers, or diced sun-dried tomatoes, or other veggie ingredient.

Last, be a little non-traditional and have a hot bowl of soup for breakfast. It will warm your innards and get you through the morning until lunch.
