I was taking Metformin and was switched to Janumet but that was just as bad...awful cramps, nausea and diarrhea. I had to be careful when and where I ate. Now I am on Bydureon, a weekly injection (not insulin) and I have no issues at all!! I was told that it comes on a daily dose and a weekly dose 2 mg, which I am taking.

I have bn on 1000mg of metformin
Since 2002 1000mg morning n 1000mg at dinner and never had a problem

I've been on Metformin for two years and found the healthier I eat the less D.

I can't take it. It give me bad cramps. I switched to Byetta.
