Default just diagnosed with t2

Numbers for glucose are in the 330-466 range. Have metformin 500mg with breakfast and dinner.

Suggestions on lowering a spike?

Successfully managing Type 2 Diabetes will require a lifestyle change. Loose weight if you need to. Test often, exercise regularly and learn to count carbs. Basically, managing Type 2 Diabetes is not that difficult, it is a healthy lifestyle that we all should have been doing to start with.

If you are not taking insulin, then your only option is exercise and lots of it. The best thing to do, is figure out what foods cause the spike and stay away from them or only eat them in moderation.
