Default Prediabetic supporting new diabetic adult daughter

My 31yo disabled daughter was just diagnosed as type 2. Since I (65yo) was diagnosed as Prediabetic several years ago (controlled by SouthBeach Diet and exercise), I decided to sign up for the diabetes maintenance class instead of simply attending as her note-taker. This was a GOOD idea. I've been able to get her cooperation by example - doing what she (and I) need to do. We are also following our diet(s) together. I hope it works...
