Default medication experience

Hi I'm new to the forum. Diagnosed in 08 but pretty much ignored all I was supposed to do but recent blood tests kicked me in to gear. Taking janumet and wondering how this is working for anyone taking it. I have no side effects and although only a week into it, my numbers have come way down! Exercising every day and cut out carbs. I am determined to get my A1c down!
