Default heart rate

Hi happy Halloween everyone! I have a question about heart rate. Recently I got hear rate app and it shows my resting heart rate is between 98-103. My friends are about 60-73 which is normal. Is there any relation between being a diabetic and high heart rate?

Not that I am aware of. Most times an excel in heart rate is attributed to mood or chemicals, such as exercise, excitement, stress or nicotine and caffeine. Are you taking any medications for this? If not you should mention it to your care provider, in the meantime look for things that can push your heart rate up.

Yeah maybe because of stress at work. I was worried and even stressful to see over 95 heart rate results daily base. Im sensitive to my diabetes so whatever happens I tend to think its all due to my diabetes. Thanks for clarifying that tho:-)
