Is there anyone else in college who seems to have lost control over their diabetes? My A1C is 11 and I don't really care anymore

Welcome to the Forum!

I am very sorry that you feel this way. Just because you do not care doesn't mean that your family does not. Get the control for your family and this will definitely benefit you as well. I recommend an Endocrinologist, if you need to change doctors. There are lots of good ones and some not so understanding, find a good one. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, this will help you as well. Look for a good Nutritionist and learn to count carbs. Take the "Diabetes Bull" by the horns, the control is ultimately up to you! Good luck with your control and management.
