Default victoza injections

Has anyone taken new medication for type 2 diabetes called Victoza. It is injectable and it is not insulin. Any reaction/comments?

Default Victoza injections

I started to use Victoza about 1 month ago and my readings dropped drastically. Now all my readings are within norms. However, I was and still concerned about developing thyroid cancer or pancreatits as outline is some of the brochures. Are you concern also and what did your doctor tell you?
Thank you for your comments and prompt reply.

I am just starting it tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about taking it. I'm wondering if my changes of not getting sick if I eat before I take it.

I did not have any side affect after taking Victoza and it is really simple to inject (does not hurt). However, you definitely need to talk to your doctor and also get prescription.

Default Tried Victoza

My endo put me on Victoza and it seemed to be a good move. Despite avoiding severe forms of the common side effects, I had to get off Victoza. The drug increased my resting heart rate by 20-30 beats. A few other users reported the same problem but many other users complained about a wide range of intestinal and gastric situations brought on by Victoza. I suggest reading online diabetes forum posts that detail other users' experiences with Victoza. Diabetesmine.com has a good section on users views of Victoza.
