Neewbie
I am a twenty-four year old that got diagnosed with type one diabetes a little over two years ago. I have to take insulin shots four times a day. When I was diagnosed the doctor said that I've had diabetes for a little over a year before being diagnosed and my blood glucose was well over 650. I was in the hospital for 6 days. I was luck and had no further damage from the incident. I have been under control of my diabetes until about 6 months ago when I hit a rough spot. I was holding a 270 average for about four months. I've recently had an osteotomy of my left distal femur (they re-broke my left leg to correct angle)at the beginning of march. My surgeon was worried about my numbers and more about my health. So basically I just got this app for my iphone and hopefully this well help.
P.s. I have no family members of friends with diabetes so maybe this forum could be a bonus for me Scott |
