Default Hello From VA, New to GB. ^_^

Hi everyone, I am new to Glucose Buddy, as well as the forums, well to any forums actually... Well anyway, I'm 23 years old, and a Type 1 Diabetic. I was Diagnosed when I was 8 years old, so i guess that is 15 years now. I was on insulin shots twice a day, till I was 12 years old, when I was put on a pump. Sadly since then my sugar/weight management have gotten horribly out of control. I'm hoping I can find help and support on this site, and help as much as I can as well. Never really had any support from other Diabetics at all in these 15 years, so I look forward to getting to know a lot of you. ^_^ Well that's all for tonight, goodnight all.

Trish18;

Welcome to the Forum!

I can see how things might get away from people using the pump. The pump just makes the bolus so much easier. Just get back in the routine you had years ago, watch what you eat and make healthy decisions. Diabetes is a lifestyle change, for the better, I hope you are able to get back on track soon. Good luck with your control and management.
