Default current diatery 'rules'

i met last with a dietician 13 years ago i suspect carbohydrates r much more of a no no than they were then?
where do i read up on current 'rules' and suggestions?

It depends who you ask and your situation. Many dietitians recommend a moderate carb diet where about 45% of your calories are from carbs. This is based on ADA recommendations. Read the resources but also see a registered dietitian.

You are right when you guessed that carbs are much more of a no-no now. This is where you would likely want to start with your diet; with the amount of carbs ingested; especially sugar carbs.
