I'm 15, and a new t1 diabetic. Mabye I'm just paranoid but I was wondering what the range of blood sugar is to avoid complications?

Welcome to the Forum!

There can be a lot of consequences if blood sugars are not kept in check.

If you can meet these, you are doing GREAT:

Normal Blood Sugars are:
Fasting BG 70-99 mg/dl
BG 2 Hours After High Carbs < 140 mg/dl

Reference

However, most of us will have to settle for this: See Healthy Blood Sugar Targets

Good luck with your control and management.
