Default type 1

I recently got out the hospital in regards to type 1 diabetes. I was surprise but I'm not letting this get me down because I told my wife that I'm going to fight this until this goes away ( meaning the diabetes). I'm going to work until my doctor tells me that it went away for good. I pray on that. My goal us for next month to my birthday march 31.

Amen

The unfortunate thing with T1 is that no matter how hard you fight it, it will never go away. Your pancreas has completely stopped producing insulin naturally so you will always have to monitor your glucose levels and manage through diet, exercise and injections. Good luck with your battle, sir. I will be rooting for you and a cure for this crazy disease.
