Default Just found out!

Terrified when I found out I have type 2. Totally unexpected. Started charting by blood now every morning and it was at 155 and this morning it was at 122. I also am taking metafarn (?). It has kind of me has me feeling sick in the morning.

Welcome to the Forum!

Metformin is one of the most commonly used Type 2 (T2) medications and yes, nausea is one of the side effects. You will normally get used to Metformin in a couple of weeks. There is lots of information on this in the T2 Section, it is addressed in the Blood Sugar 101 thread, as well.

Read and learn all you can about T2. Good luck with your control and management.
