Default How do we make things easier?

Testing your blood sugar is annoying…is there anything that would make the process easier (aside from eliminating finger-sticks)? This might include anything from carrying supplies around or any aspects of the test kit, e.g., lancet, strips, meter.

In order to make things easier; I have minimized the size of the meter and incorporated all supplies in a small bag. Now I can just grab the small bag and go, knowing that everything that I need is in the bag.

But what bag do you use? It is a pain to grab everything before I head out. In addition to keys, sunglasses, cameras, etc. there is also the meter, lancets, test strips, insulin pen, needles, and the other fun stuff. I have looked for a single case to hold the pens, meters, needles, lancets, and test strips, but haven't found anything that is just right. I think there is a large market out there that is untapped!

One thing I do have everywhere is empty test strip containers for all the used test supplies and needles when I am out. Then when I am home I can dispose of the junk properly.

Here is the bag that I use.

Here is the insulin cooler that I use. Note: Other coolers are available on the website for those that don't use the pens.

I hope the information helps!

I'm taking a 5 microgram dosage of Byetta b.I.d. Any chance of getting that unit of measure (I.e. microgram) included as an option on meds?
