Default Son with ADHD

Hi all, my 9-year-old son who has ADHD and is obsessed with television. He watches TV all the time and gets up in the midnight to watch tv. I compel him to go out and to play with other boys in the evening, but he doesn’t want to be out for more than 10 minutes. He always wants to sneak inside and to watch tv. He gets into his room and sits alone if I don't allow him to watch TV. I really want to break him from this bad habit. He always likes to be watching TV or alone. We were planning to consult an expert at Edgewood Health Network ( http://edgewoodhealthnetwork.com/#!inpatient-treatment ) for his ADHD and noticed his tv addiction in the last week only. Is this related to ADHD? What should we do to make him normal? Does counselling really work?

Consult a counsellor. That would be better.
